Grozny is the capital city of Chechnya.
During the two Chechen wars, the city was partially destroyed.
The Shapito Circus decided to offer an unforgettable experience for Chechen children,
many of who had never been before at the circus.
The circus was guarded by armed soldiers during the day and night time,
all the actors were placed in trailers and in handmade cardboard houses
that they installed during severe winter.
